Georgian

The Georgian supports a strong hood that carries much of the appeal of this tiled insert. As cast iron fireplace design evolved, ceramic tiles became the perfect accompaniment to this process.

Already have an old masonry fireplace? Many of the coal burning fireplaces that were very common in homes built around the turn of the century are now in poor repair. Our castings can be safely installed over a renovated wood or coal burning fireplace, providing all of the traditional charm of the Victorian original, while permitting the burning of wood, coal or natural gas.
