Gladstone

The Gladstone mantel makes particularly good use of the hightlighted finish, where the raised portions of the decorative detail are polished down to the cast iron, while leaving the rest of the finish painted satin black. This design features a floral pattern in the corners of the frieze, and underneath this are two rams heads placed above the pronounced diamond detail in the center of each leg.
