Gloucester

The Gloucester is a more ornate cameo register grate. This impressive design contains a cast iron firebox as part of the complete design, and consequently must be installed into an existing masonry firebox to be operated. These held a larger amount of coal, and were located in main rooms where the greater heat output was appreciated. Consequently, when used with wood, they handle a larger log than an arch or combination.
