Royal Gas Burner

Our coal effect gas or propane burner is an excellent choice where there is an existing masonry fireplace and you want the convenience of gas. Note however, that these are vented burners, and therefor require a chimney in order to be operated safely.

The nature of an open fireplace is that a significant amount of the heat goes up the flue. There is still some heat radiated into the room, but any gas burner for an open masonry fireplace must be considered decorative, as opposed to heat generating. These burners feature the respected Maxitrol valve, which provides hi lo flame settings and have optional modulating remotes allowing them to be operated from anywhere in the room. At 30,000 btu, they offer a very realistic flame picture that flows up through the simulated coal bed. These can be used in conjunction with some of our grates, or with a number of our cast fronts.
