Mantels

Mantels have been made out of every material imaginable over the history of man’s love affair with the hearth. Wood, stone, marble and cast iron have all been used commonly to creatively embellish the appearance of the hearth. The firebox itself was created as a source of heat, but it was the mantel and surround that were added to augment the overall design, greatly enhancing the interior of any space.
